  • Name of project: The Old Post Office
  • Name of client: Artemis Adjusting
  • Value: £30,000
  • Duration of project: The project was completed within 8 weeks
  • Brief description of the project: The front external wall of the former Grade 2 listed post office was hit by a vehicle and partially collapsed. The project required rebuilding both the front elevation and the internal blockwork, carrying out plastering repairs and decoration. The project was complex because the property is older, and the bricks were no longer manufactured, so finding a match was a challenge. In the end, we decided to have the bricks made specifically for the project so the colour would match. We worked with the property owners to carefully remove and clear the damaged section of the wall before rebuilding it. We then repaired any plumbing and electrics affected by the damaged wall, completed Heli bar and resin crack repairs, before plastering and decorating the rooms affected by the damage. The project lasted 2 months, and we allowed the residents to continue living in their home whilst the work was completed.
