Brief description of the project: The owner of the home was older and suffering from mobility issues. We were tasked with completing a series of adaptions to their home that included the installation of a new level access shower with a seat, a new kitchen with raised surfaces to help the homeowner who couldn’t bend down, a large number of grab rails throughout the home and the installation of a lift which required structural alterations to the floors. We also carried out decorations and installed new flooring in the rooms that required it. We also carried out landscaping works to the rear of the property to replace steps with a ramp so the homeowner could go out into the garden.
How you delivered the service and customer satisfaction: We worked with our staff and carefully chosen subcontractors to complete the project within 5 months and within budget. We worked closely with the homeowner to make sure the work was what they hoped for and that they were happy at every stage of the process. The project was also sensitive due to the homeowner’s age, so we were careful not to disrupt their home too much and were very careful about mess and dust.
